Palm Sunday, April 13
This is the day we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey as the people praised him, waving palm branches and shouting, “Hosannah.” At 8:30 we’ll enact this liturgy at the rock in front of the church. At 10:00 (note the new time) we’ll re-enact this event in a new way, traveling to a variety of points throughout our grounds.
Then we’ll move into the church as the mood shifts toward Holy Week. We’ll experience the entire Passion gospel and all the events of Jesus’ arrest, torture, and death. It’s a hard service, but a moving one that prepares us to welcome Easter. The 10:30 service will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page. Worship along with us using the following booklets: |

Good Friday, April 186:00 pm Tenebrae and Seven Last Words
This evening we’ll gather for Tenebrae, the Service of Shadow, which reenacts the gathering darkness as Jesus suffered and died on the cross. We'll hear meditations on the words Jesus spoke from the cross and we'll each have a chance to make our own devotions at the cross, driving in a nail if we choose. Join us in person or on Facebook using the booklet here. |
10:00 Festive Choral Eucharist
Join us in person or online for a jubilant service in our sanctuary. We'll adorn the sanctuary with festive banners and ring bells each time we declare, "Alleluia!" After the dark days of Lent, Easter's celebration of resurrection joy will be wonderful. Come rejoice with us in person, or celebrate along with the livestream on our Facebook page using the booklet here. |
