8:30 am - 12:00 pm   Every 3rd Saturday of the month.

On the third Saturday of each month we shower folks with fresh, nutritious food and with God’s love.  We partner with a variety of other churches, farmers’ markets, and corporations to gather food, some of which we can or freeze to preserve.  Then we distribute it to the needy in Cherokee County in a way that shows our hungry friends the respect and love they deserve.

Combatting Hunger Globally
Through World Central Kitchen

We do so much to feed the hungry in our area, but there’s hunger all over the world.  That’s why we’re launching a GoFundMe for World Central Kitchen.  Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen is a nonprofit organization that is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. WCK has served more than 500 million nourishing meals around the world.  When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes immediately to start cooking and serving meals to people in need. By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of local restaurants, food trucks, and emergency kitchens, WCK serves comforting meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively. To support regional economies, WCK prioritizes purchasing local ingredients to cook with or distribute directly to families in need. They have fed those affected by hurricanes in North Carolina, floods in Texas, wildfires in Canada and Spain, and wars in Ukraine and Gaza.  Funding their efforts and raising awareness about their work is how we can impact hunger globally.
